Marinco® FCC magnesium oxide, which is odorless and non-toxic, is used as a food additive for powder mix desiccant (drying agent), color retention, pH modification or as a magnesium supplement. Marinco® FCC keeps powdered foods, such as powder drink mixes, free-flowing as it acts as an anti-caking agent.
Magnesium oxide adds dietary value in the form of the mineral magnesium in dietary supplements (i.e. vitamins). When added to food products, Marinco® FCC also helps control pH and maintain food color.
